If your wishes are on using Signal on your PC, then you’ll need to download the application for Windows, Mac, or Linux. It normally comes in handy if only you have Signal installed on your smartphone already and if you’re using it.
If that happens to be the case, setting it up on your desktop is cheese. We’ll instruct you on all you need to do step-by-step below. Let’s hit it!
First, go ahead to Download Signal Desktop. The Windows version can be found as well as Mac & Linux versions in the same link.
After installation, launch the application on your PC. A QR code now appears on screen, you’ll need to pair your PC to your Phone.
Open Signal on your Mobile device then tap on the three dots in the upper right corner to nevigate to the settings.
While in the settings, Select “Linked devices”.
Click on the ‘plus’ icon at the bottom right.
You will now have to scan the QR code then confirm the pairing.
Enter a name for the device you’ve linked to in the desktop App then click on “Complete pairing with phone” at the bottom of the window.
